Develop and market sustainable tourism products that showcase the natural beauty, biodiversity, and cultural heritage of the Mt. Elgon region.

Strengthen Community Capacity
Build skills, knowledge, and institutional capacity among community members, especially youth and women, to participate meaningfully in the economy.

Meet Our Leadership
Director / Coordinator
Dr. Samuel W. Watulatsu
Director / Coordinator, Elgon Connect
Dr. Watulatsu is a development practitioner with more than three decades of grassroots experience in Eastern Uganda. He is the founder and chief executive of the Foundation for Development of Needy Communities, Coordinator for Global Partnerships at the Mbale City Development Forum, and chairs the lobbying, advocacy and communications effort for the proposed Mbale University of Science and Technology.
